We each have an inner critic and a compassionate inner guide. The critic is loud and shames you for mistakes and tells you you’re worthless or hopeless or bad. The guide lovingly nudges you to do better because you’re worthy of better and all the good stuff that goes with it.
If your guide is a bit too quiet to hear, get calm, sit down, and ask it to speak to you. Then, and most importantly, listen. Repeat daily.
The more you listen to your inner guide, the quieter the critic becomes.
